Michigan Traditional Bowhunters President....
« on: May 30, 2009, 12:58:00 PM »
For the past 18 years, MTB President Dick Gardner Jr. has served on the council and work hard to keep MTB going. I wouldn't do him justice if I tried to listed all of the functions he has performed over the years as I know I would miss some, but I can tell you that he has ALWAYS been there for his MTB family. He is the first one to drop everything and go help out a friend in need and I truly believe that he has a heart of gold. I know that I am a better person for knowing him.
A few days ago his mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was in remission when it suddenly came back a couple weeks ago and this made her passing that much tougher.
Please keep Dick and his family in your prayers.

Prayers on the way from Georgia

In HIS service

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

We must go beyond the textbooks, go out into the untrodden depths of the wilderness & travel & explore & tell the world the glories of our journey

Absolutely! Grief is a process, not an event.

Prayers for God's grace and peace to cover them all and carry them thru.

Dick, Keep the Son in your eyes.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
