A family in trouble...
« on: June 30, 2009, 10:49:00 AM »
My friend, Brad Brought, goes by "Redeemed" wrote to ask for prayers and in sharing back, he picked up a need of my own so he beat me here to post a request for this ole bird....

Now it's his turn:

Brad has devoted his life to Christ in ministry. He has suffered from some issues of his own and has troopered on in spite of them.

His wife has had neck problems, and is working for a medical group that has bought up doctor's offices and gone big time..yet lost it's soul in the way it treats employees

Please pray for God's hand to minister to this young family as they face so many trials and challenges:
1) Tam's health concerns, the pain in her ongoing neck problems, the heartlessness of her employer,
2) the challenges of their delightful young daughter who struggles with some of her Dad's challenges,
and
3) for Brad, as he seeks the Lord's will for his continuing education in the face of this adversity, that he might hear and heed God's call for his life in ministry.

If this group can't pray up some intervention for the Brought Family, I'd be surprised!

Thanks, brothers and sisters.

Keep the Son in your eyes, Brought clan.

Amen & praying.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

listen guys, (and girls who maybe lifting us up without posting a reply), I really appreciate you all reaching the throne for us, times are getting tough, but as it is often said, if we were to all put our problems in a big pile and have to pick one up, we would probably choose our own back considering how bad the other issues are. That is how it is with us, God is good ALL THE TIME, not just when we are standing on the mountain top but also when we are in that valley, I have come to appreciate the valleys nd deserts simply becuase that is where I have the opportunity to grow my faith, and see just what Im made of, and who exactly I run to (or FROM)when the going gets tough. I thank and praise God for friends like you all, Doc drove I don't know how far to come and support me at my ordination ceremony....... and until that cold SNOWY night........ I had never laid eyes on the man!!!!!!!!!!!! I can tell that Doc is not the only one on here with a self-sacrificing heart of gold. so allow me to end this reply with a praise....... Praise God for friends like you fellow stick benders, and please continue to lift up my friend ole Doc, he TRULY is one of a kind,
Lord bless and kep you all!!!!!!

Brad,

Listen to yer elders now, Boy!  :)

I doubt there is any gold in my heart. If you knew the depth of sinful struggles I wrestle constantly, you wouldn't be getting all gooshy on me!  :)  But thanks for those kindest of words.

I guess kind words make us try to live up to the faith others have in us but Hoss, I've got a long, long way to go to be any of that.

What li'l good I might do here pales in comparison to what I've received here.  The blessings I share, small that they be, are nothing compared to what has been shown me through God's angels here on earth.

Now sit back and bask in God's love expressed for you and your family, through others, ok?  Feel the power of prayers said for you and your lovely family.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Prayers on the way
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
