Gave Ed some extra time and called tonite on the way home from work. He sounded MUCH better'n the last we'd talked last Sunday a week.
He passed one kidney stone and now has pain, but "..nothing like it was that's for sure" were his words tonite. He sounded like the ole Ed...
Still can't eat anything but bread and stuff. Raditation has made his guts too touchy.
Good news is that his raditation of 42 treatments ends next Thursday. He'll be off to some friend's family to stay for a bit to regain his strength after they finish his treatments.
They can't do squat about the kidney stones for 8 weeks after radiation ends.
If I can, I'll get an address and/or phone # where he'll be staying to post if I'm allowed.
He won't know for some time if the radiation worked to kill the prostate cancer or not...but he's being quite positive and hopeful.
The treatments still have him all tuckered out with zero energy to even log on to his computer, but at least he's now in somewhat less pain.
Ed has surely taught me Grace in a new way with the confidence and positive demeanor he's evidenced through this trial.
Ed, Keep the Son in your eyes!
