prayers for family member with leukemia
« on: November 07, 2009, 06:36:00 PM »
Hello, my sister-in-law is currently receiving chemotherapy for AML, a type of leukemia.  The first round of chemo did not work very well and she is on her second.  Please pray for her and her family.  If you wish you can read more on her story and give her encouragement at CaringBridge.org.  This is a nonprofit organization that hosts free websites for those who have serious health conditions so that concerned people can stay connected and up to date.  Her personal website is sweetbabyjean.  Thank you and God Bless.

Praying
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Didn't have time to visit the website, but want to offer up prayers for God's healing and spirit to be on your sister-in-law and your family, her team of medical professionals and all who love her.

Keep the Son in your eye(s)!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
