Philip,

It sounds to me that timewill only deepen the memories and bond that you had with your brother. Beautiful testament to his life well-lived, and ended in the arms of the Lord. What a blessing to know the one you loved so now stands with the one who loved us so he died for us!

prayers for peace that passess all understanding to wrap you in His Grace, healing and love.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Philip, I will pray for your comfort in dealing with the loss of your brother.  May you find peace in the fond memories you have of your brother.  I would try taking that Ben Pearson Spoiler off the peg and letting a few arrows fly.

I too have layed a Brother to rest. He was injuryed in a car accident in 1989 and lived in a wheel chair until his death in 2001. I watched him suffer so much in that 12 years till it wasn't funny. His spirit was never broken and he lived a full life. I miss him and would have liked to spent more time with him. We should all learn to live every day like it is our last one because we never get to go back. I am sorry for your loss but I thank you for sharing with us to help remind us to hugg those we love and make time for them.

My prayers are with you Phillip.  It will be four years next week that my brother passed.  My best hunting partner and friend.  I'm deeply saddened to hear your loss.  May we all meet on the other side.

God sent one of mine home 25 years ago
it hurt my soul i hid and cryed for weeks
i looked up and saw the alabama sunshine
its rays dried my tears
i knew at once he was with GOD
and that some day i would see
him again
my heart goes out to you may
JESUS be with you in your time of need
