tyler i will be glad to pray for you. if it's GODS will, the position is already yours. when it comes to any sitiuation i have to rely on my faith. i don't seem to be able to decern when it's his will, so i just ask him to intervene if it's, you know how sometimes we think it's will but it's not the best thing for us. then there's always satan, so i just trust GOD, that leaves satan out of it. may GOD bless you for your willingness to step up, it's a big responsibilty, some are called to be pastors. GOD BESS.

Praying for God's perfect will and the wisdom and strength to follow it.

What Benson said...doesn't get any plainer than that! His Will. His Strength. His Glory through your surrender!

Prayers offered up from Georgia.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Praying for you Tyler!

If God does put you there then, "preach it like it will be the last time they will hear the gospel".

Because it very well could be.

God Bless, Brother!

Praise God for your call.  I also am a pastor of a Missionary Baptist Church.  I will tell you now that there will be hard times and great times, don't let either go to your head.  Praise God and let him always lead.  Remember, just because your the pastor don't mean that you lead the church, that is GOD's job!!

Follow Him and all will be great, Congratulations!!

Hello there my brother. How are things with the new church? I hope everything is working out well there. I know by now you have found out that being a Pastor requires dealing with people who sometimes leaves you wondering if they are really christians or not. LOL!! I have seen one of my very best friends (Whom is also my Pastor) struggle with some people who want to run the church. I could tell you more but this is not the place to do so. I will continue to pray for you and your family as you work to serve the Lord where ever He places you. But from what I see you don't make enough money for what you (Pastors) have to put up with. LOL!!! God bless you and yours this Holiday Season.......Dusty

Tyler, I can remember my first church and the excitement of those days.  It was not easy but always good!  Keep your heart tender and your new flock will follow you in all good things.

I am excited for you - blessings from China!

This may take much more patience than hunting! You have my prayers.
Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and gray-headed,O God, do not forsake me,Until I declare your strength to this generation.
