prayers please for my wifes grandfather
« on: November 14, 2010, 09:28:00 AM »
got the call last night that my wifes grandfather was ruched to the hospital. he has been fighting cancer and steadily going down hill. doc's are giving morphine and just trying to make him comfortable as nothing else can be done. i knew Mickey all my life and have fond memories of hunting with him and fishing on his property as it was a small town. he was an avid outdoorsmen, hunter and love to garden. please say a prayer for a safe journey as his time on the earth is running out. i will miss him, God bless Mickey.

Prayers for God's grace to shine in his heart to light the way home
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Ken, Prayers for you and your family are sent out from Kent City,Mi. I know people like Micky are hard to let go of. I lost friends like that. Never knew what I had till they were gone. We never met but I'll see you and Micky (and others) on the big hunt.

Ken, I just sent a prayer to our Lord for Micky and your family. We all will make the same journey some day no one is exempt. With Jesus there will be eternal life and we can all meet again in paradise.

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mickey is meeting God with the finest riches a man can possess; many fine people on this side of the trail who carry his goodness in their hearts and memories. Love make mighty fine traveling music. It trumpets the arrival, and the gates open in joy.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Prayers for you and your family, you've been through a lot lately.

Our loss is the Lord's gain. I know you have a void in your family right now with all this loss going on this last couple of weeks. I guess you could say that maybe Mr. Mickey might be walking Mrs Gerttrude even as you are reading this. You just never know about those things but for sure they are both in a better place and have no problems.God bless you and your family.....Dusty

You've had a bunch on you of late with your dear companion passing, now MIckey.

Many great words printed here already. I was out chasin but not getting deer and making some memories of my own.

Killie's words touched my heart especially.

May the Peace that passess understanding be with all who love and miss Mickey.
