Long roads aren't all bad, Ed. it provides direction and purpose. Trad shooters know all about perseverance and committment.

You can and will do this.

Whatever we can do to help, reach out. Ask!

Prayers of thanksgiving that things continue to progress. Eat an elephant one bite at a time!

keep the Son in your eyes, bro!

Praises you found a better surgeon who knows his stuff...lots and lots of tiny bones in the hand!

Sorry you have to go backwards but the good news hidden in there is they seem to have caught the errors in time to fix them, even though you've lost some months of recuperative time...

It would have been worse (yes?) if they'd not found it and things have fused and arthritis set in and you could have been in worse pickle!

I can't imagine the frustration you feel, and not trying to minimize it Ed... But I do feel this sense of "hope" as I read your posts, albeit, a delay in recovery for an active chap as yourself!

Prayers for a good surgery (typed god surgery--maybe should have left that?) :)and for a quick healing this time!

Update: Finally got the ok to start Passive Therapy and to begin strengthening my hand.  I am looking forward to shooting again. It has been almost 9 months since I've even drawn a bow right handed.  Lots of Therapy before I try shooting but I am definitely moving in the right direction. I just want to Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the Prayers.  I wish you all a safe and prosperous hunting season this year and those to come.  Big Ed
