my brother
« on: December 14, 2010, 04:20:00 PM »
Please keep my younger brother, Ken, in your prayers. He had a heart attack in the wee hours Sunday morning and was taken straight into surgery. He's expected to be fine, but will be unable to work for a month, or so. Thanks, y'all!

we will certainly pray for him, these are always scary times, very happy to hear he is doing ok. i'm sure you all are counting your blessings. i had a co-worker who had a heart attack, i said you realize your one of the lucky ones, there are some that don't have a second chance. he said i never thought of it that way but your right. let him know we're praying for him. GOD LOVES HIM AND SO DO WE!

Missed this one: Prayers for Ken to pay heed to his docs and be back home for Christmas, smarter and on the mend.

Thanks, y'all.  He's scheduled for discharge from the hospital this morning. Hope he stops eating Butterfingers for breakfast!

Butterfingers? Yeah, a few diet changes might help balance the longevity scale...

Benson, don't you dare!!  :)

Thanks for the prayers and encouragement! He's out of the hospital and is crabbing because he can't go to work, so it looks like all is well. Thanks again. Y'all are the best!
