My wife's family
« on: January 04, 2011, 09:24:00 AM »
Yesterday the gentleman known to my wife as Dad (her grandfather and legal guardian) passed at 11:00 am.

Please send prayers for her family.
Relax,

Prayers sent for God's best
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

May God wrap His arms around your wife and all who knew her Grandad so that they know His presence and feel everlasting peace.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Lord please raise the spirits of this family and through Jesus may your plan for them be reviled.

Thanks everyone.

Jim,

Joe's new shirt was Pop's old shirt he never wore, it just hung in the closet brand new for the past 20 or 30 years.  I hope he is able to make use of it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
