Please keep me in your prayers.......
« on: May 30, 2011, 12:18:00 PM »
My how life can change in a heart beat.  I have been married to my wife for 8 years.  We were High School sweethearts, so we have been together for over 15 years.

Things have been going down hill for a long time. Yesterday things came to a head, and we have decided that we need to part.

The hardest part of the whole thing is I still want to be with her, but my idea's of a wife just seem to be outdated.

I hope that you will all say a prayer for me, I am fighting off wanting to go on a path of self destruction.

I don't have any idea what the future holds for me now.  I thought I had it all figured out.

I just pray that God will see me through.
What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Never leave the one you love, for the one you like.

I will keep you in my prayers, my friend. Things always happen for a reason, even though we may not see or understand them at the time. This is somehow in Gods plan for you, even though I know it hurts like hell. The good Lord will never lead us to something that he isn't willing to carry us through......IF.....we let him. You know my number and please don't hesitate to call.
What if you woke up tomorrow, with only what you thanked God for today ???

Hey, Bryan, I know that knowing MANY other folks have gone through the same thing doesn't make it easier but however it turns out, you both will be OK.  Keep your faith, my friend.

Praying
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Praying that what ever direction you both take, you both find peace and happiness.

Time in the wildnerness is guaranteed.  Trust, have faith that while you suffer, you are not alone and God's not abandoned you.

Self destructive behavior just plays into the devils' hands. Then you have to fight back from those BAD choices along with this grief.

Losing a relationship is as a death and there is a grief process. It's not an 'event'

God has a plan. trust me, it not always easy to remeber or beleve, whether its a split or an addiction, in my case, or a death or anything. its always hard to believe god has our best intrest at heart and it gunning for us. but you wanna know the best part...he is. God bless, my friend.

Hey...praying for you, the urge may be to self-destruct but that urge is not the way to go.  May the God of Heaven and Earth bless you with His peace...that "peace that surpasses all understanding", talk to Him and listen for Him to talk back to you, He loves you and will help you thru.  Also, remember God is also a miracle worker, I have personally seen Him restore many marriages in my line of work as a minister.  God Bless

Bryan,

Divorce is one of the hardest things a man of God can go through, been there, done that. Keep the faith and do not give in to the devil's temtation of self destruction. All things are for a reason and you will get through this and be stronger for it. May the Lord give you strength in your time of need.
