Praying For Cyclic-Rivers
« on: August 30, 2011, 04:24:00 AM »
I'm not a usual here, but I need to take the time to pray for Charlie Janssen (cyclic-rivers) here. Irene missed my area, but it looks as though it found Charlie's nearby town. All I've been seeing on the local news have been pictures of a local drive-in restaurant right near his home, nearly submerged in entirety. The water had to have come up a great, great deal from the Mohawk River to have done that.
Charlie's on an elk hunt currently, and I'd hate for something to have happened while he was away. Please, if you can, say a prayer for Charlie in hopes that everything turs out just fine. Thank you.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Many have suffered much and the extent will only be known as time passes!

Thanks For the well wishes guys.

I was quite fortunate to have been spared. I had a little extra dampness in my basement which I can handle!

Many people in the area lost everything.  If you have ever heard of the 100 year flood, dont be fooled, theres also the 50 year and 500 year a and so on. Mother Nature can strike when she wants.

Crazy, we had an earthquake, Hurricane 2 massive, massive floods and a Tornado all in a month.

Thanks for your prayers but please sdont waste them on me, send them to the families that deserve them. Mostly in Schoharie and Middleburgh NY.

Amen.
Relax,

You'll live longer!
