Well it is Christmas Eve and my house is very quite right now. With my kids all grown and gone this house feels a little empty, But as I sit here this morning thinking such thoughts I get a little reminder from my Father that my cup truly is running over. This house is not empty now nor will it ever be as it is filled with His presents and with the overflow of His grace and peace. So I would like to offer up this prayer this morning if you would allow me to for all those who have a need today.
Father, from the creation of time you knew we would need saving from ourselves. You knew we would mess up just about everything we put our hand to as well. You even put a plan in place to fix all of that even before there was a need for a plan. Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your SON to us in the form of a man to walk with us and show us your great love and how we are to live. Father you stood by and watched your Son give His life and didn't lift a finger to stop this as it was THE plan to provide us a way to come boldly unto your throne of Grace where we can find eternal salvation in the long term and peace and comfort in the daily grind of our lives. Father there are those on this site that have given love ones to save us for different reasons but still they gave. You know the pain that they are suffering through first hand. I ask that you give them an extra serving of peace the next few days. There are those who are battling the emptiness of loss of love ones for other reasons that cannot be explained and it has left them bitter and hurt. I ask your peace for these as well for they need to feel your comfort strongly. Also there are those who have physical sickness and pain that clouds their minds and threatens to consume them and steal their joy. Father for those I ask for peace and patience’s to wait upon you to give them fulfillment in all areas of their lives. Father, for those who have lost jobs and are struggling to stay afloat and keep their families together and taken care of, I ask that you send them a touch in the form of whatever they are in need of to get them through this time and get them in a more comfortable position. I pray for those who are away from their families standing in the gap for the freedoms we are able to enjoy all the time. Father, keep them safe and bring them home. There are those whom have love ones who are near death and with that death will be alone without family. I ask for peace for them today and that you would fill this void with people whom would stand with them as family. Father thank you for all the prayer warriors on this site and for all the time they spending lifting up the needs of others. They all have made an impact on so many lives in many ways that only you know about.
Now Father I would be remiss in not remembering those whom don’t know or except the reason for this season. Father I ask that you break the grip that satan has on them and remove the blindness from their eyes and heart. Father guide us with your love and keep us with your protection and always remind us that we are blessed without measure in all areas of our life at all times if we have been born again. Thanks for showing me this morning just how full I am because of you. Father it is in your name that I pray this morning…….Amen
