Tragic Boating Accident
« on: May 22, 2012, 05:48:00 AM »
On Sat. May 19th A tragic boating accident happened on the Mississippi River near Burlington Iowa. Three young men and one young lady lost their lives. All four were 20 to 22 years old. Eight others were also injured. I don't know how badly the others were hurt at this time.

I work with the Father and step Mother of one of the young men that died. I know that they are just devastated. Please send your prayers and thoughts for the families  and the injured.

I went thru this with a HS friend who had the world tolive for... drowned as a strong, strong swimmer last summer about this time...

No reason...they think he may have had an angina attack, slipped unconscious under the water and drowned.

Reading this breaks my heart! So sad to read of such a senseless loss...

May God provide comfort for all involved.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Prayers for God's strength and comfort
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])
