Well as I read this I am reminded that with all these problem you are having and all the stuff they have done to your ear to try to correct this problem the good thing is that we don't have to have our ears to hear that still small voice as our Father speaks. I will be praying for you to hear from our Him and that you will get what you are asking for.......Dusty

After a lot of research last nigh and this morning, I made a call to the surgery scheduling department of VCU and told them to go ahead and schedule the surgery as soon as they could.  I am not going to put myself, my family, my friends though all this trial and error any more.  Hopefully it is the right decision, only time and an operation will tell.

Just got the call back from the surgery scheduler.  Surgery will be on July 24th.  They will let me know what time to be there, and will be an inpatient for a couple of days.

Praying for resolution to this mess and God's strength.

Like I shared elsewhere, Charlie, you already did all you could to kill that inner ear, so doing so surgically I guess is not a big deal. You're just confirming what choice you already made... and it did seem to help for a period of time.

I was surprised to read you'll be inpatient for a period of days...but I guess that close to your 586 Chip, they want to be sure you don't get any "bugs" or earwigs in there so they'll keep you for a couple!  :)

Does make the "reality" of it all a bit more serious, but Lord's been with you this far, He will not fail you now!

Prayers will abound on the 24th and thereafter till we hear from you!

Lord in your Mercy...
