Thanks for asking Billy...Still quite a bit of discomfort after home exercises attempting to increase my range of motion. Start PT next week and hopefully back to work mid May.

Only things I can do right now right handed...let my arm hang down easy and tie my sneaks and eat. Have to be careful I don't fall or slip, can't raise a glass to my mouth or brush my teeth yet righty, still typing lefty with hunt and peck.

The only time my arm comes out of this heavy sling is for showering and exercise. I'm hyper to begin with so this is driving me crazy...along with the fact I won't be able to fish or hunt spring turkey. My goal is to work very hard rehabing so I can shoot all my bows, righty and lefty come this fall.

Good luck to all you bowhunters chasing turkeys around, I want to see plenty of kill photos.

As the road signs say, Joe, "temporary inconvenience, permanent improvement!"  :)

Take the high road, do what you're allowed and only that but know what boundaries you need and then you'll reach your goals without setbacks...

Overdoing and set backs...they just bite...

Stay with it Joe. Rehab can be disconcerting and aggravating, but take it from one that's been there, it is worth it in the long run.

Joe, get Bamboo to pull on that thing and stretch it out!!!!!

PT is tough.  I finished out my PT shooting a 40# recurve.  This was after 2 rounds of PT.  I couldn't get pain free or 100% motion.  Doctor said this is where you are.  I had to get back in the game so I started with my old 1969 Darton recurve.  Tears every day.  At the end of a week reduced to little pain.  At two weeks, no pain.  Moved up to my 50# recurves.

You can do it, but DON'T push the recovery.

A couple of weeks wait for the rest of your life of comfort is a little price to pay.

Man I am glad to hear you are making progress.

Best wish for a full recovery.  It will take time and it is never easy, so don't push it to soon. I caught the problem before it needed surgery and the recovery took all of five months.

Morning fellas..starting my PT tomorrow. Had the sling off now one week and finally the bicep muscles are working pain free. The only pain is in the actual shoulder area but I've been doing these home exercise religiously.

I missed PT on Tuesday...wife and I got hit with this stomach virus Friday night...still not quite over it. I fell backwards after getting light headed and bounced off the tub. Bruised my left ribs and strained some cartliage. This was on Sunday...

On the upswing...turkeys are gobbling and struttin all around here. Even if I can't hunt them this year, sure is good to see the activity. Keep The Faith.

Sorry for the setback, Joe.  Don't rule out birds just yet... you might surprise yourself...all but the bunged up ribs!

Get over that nasty virus and back in the traces.
