Meet wi the surgeon Monday
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:33:00 AM »
Meet with the surgeon Monday to see what she thinks. Also talked wi my oncologist and he worked it out so I can get into a special chemo study here. Not really thrilled about that because there's a 50% chance I'd get the chemo that doesn't do anything. The test chemo doesn't have a reputation of doing a whole lot either. I don't relish the thought of going through chemo again. Guess we'll pray, listen and think it over.  Praying for Gods wisdom & best

Doesn't sound like the Research program offers a great benefit, but you have the best "counselor" possible in your close relationship with our Lord and Savior.

All I'll offer is continued prayers and encouragement for peace, discernment and complete healing to totally confound them ole doctors!

Galen,  David always knows how to say it best.  I am not a man of many words but want to to know you will be in my prayers.  I know you are a fighter and will pray for the best!
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Thanks all! God indeed continues to bless me as these tumors are growing slowly and not messing up my blood as the have in the past. The surgeon still believes that she can't make someone without negative symptoms better. So now we have to do more research on the test chemo. Until we decide on something I'm going bear & maybe mtn lion hunting. Prayers for Gods blessings for all of you.

I wasn't going to mention the bear hunting unless you did, but best wishes for a safe and wonderful outing.

Take plenty of pics regardless of whether you score. That is some beautiful country you hunt!
