New Don Thomas book on Africa

I think I read in TBM that one was due soon but I can't remember for sure. I've got two years and four months until I go back and I need a fix! Does anyone know when if Don Thomas is writing a new book and when it's due to release?

Don was just here for a visit finishing a book on flyfishing. Didn't mention any others in the works but I'm sure there are. I'll ask and let you know if I hear anything.

I looked at a back issue of TBM (Feb/Mar 2007) and found this at the end of an article he wrote about hunting in Africa,

"He is currently completing a collection of stories about bowhunting adventures around the world."

In last months Gray's Sporting Journal they mention he was working on a collection of stories on waterfowl hunting.

Ditto! He has the wonderful ability to blend dreams, philosophy and humor with solid realism. Oh and he likes dogs, retrievers that is!

Don did mention to me last month that he is not working on any bowhunting book projects. Fishing, dogs and birds, but not bows. Maybe the Aussie Buff trips will get him inspired again. - Jay Campbell, JD
