Hunt alone. That way I don't have to share the choice patches of bear grass used for napping. Also don't have to listen to complaints about my snoring.

I usually hunt alone during the week. On the weekends my best friend Matt & his son Coty come up & hunt on the property with me.

most of my hunting is done alone but like sherpa said, tag teaming the elk during the rut can bring on some real exciting times. We have used up to 4 people while calling elk and been very successful. Had a double header once when two bulls were shot within seconds of each other. When my 13 year old daughter comes we always stay together (within 50 yrds or so) other wise I prefer to be by my self.

I love comming back to camp and sharing the days events with good friends and family members.  Yes I prefer to sit in my stand alone unless my grandsons are with me.  But hunting by myself is like one person said already, it's lonely.  To me there is nothing like sitting around the camp fire and stragagising for the next days hunt. Or waking up in the morning to smell the soothing aroma of last nights fire coffee just a brewing.

I don't hunt alone much at all, unless it's after work and I just go behind the house!
