Wow, like others I am very surprised about how good that looks. On the other hand I am not surprised at all about Bone lake's wife's comment  :D . I am sure my wife would offer similar commentary as well as a cost breakdown for obtaining such an item  "[dntthnk]" .

Great looking rug. First I've ever seen. Got a bear skin rug and a wolf, never thought about a pig skin rug. Guess I'll have to mention that to my taxadermist. By the way rugs look great draped over old seamans chest. I would be concerned about someone breaking the teeth on this one.

If you put that in front of the fire place, I suppose those tusks would rule out any romantic encounters!  Ouch!  :scared:

If you put it on the floor, better make sure the dogs are okay with it.  A co-worker had a next door neighbor that had his polar bear made into a rug.  The next morning he was throwing it in the trash after his dogs pissed all over it and chewed it to shreds.  Never did find out if he had 2 golden retriever rugs made after that episode!    :jumper:

Bone, my wife said almost the same thing!!! :]

Awesome skin, I just save the inside and throw away the wrapping.  I'll have to save the next one instead of feeding the buzzards.

Maybe if I get a couple bigs ones and have a bedspread made.......I'll get back to you all on that one.  :}

it does look cool, but does it still smell like a boar too.  :)

Most of the boars I've killed are so wire haired I can't imagine using a hair-on skin for anything but a tire scrubbing brush or boot cleaner at the back door.  :)

Thats definitely a good looking skin for a boar though, he must not have had to fight much in his time or the taxidermist did a great job hiding scars. Very neat idea. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. - eric
