North east kansas fellers - who's got friday off?

Got tomorrow off?....wanna hit hillsdale and see if we can't put an arra in one of them wabbits running around...I think I'm gonna head out around 11 AM

Walked for about 2 hours saw nothing...Wind was howling and treees were singing....Snow was crunchy and hard....saw tons of foot tracks and dog tracks...Looks like some one was running dogs out there.

About a 1/4 of the way around my typical rout my knee gave out and I limped home one arrow short....that stump jumped the string.

I'll be down that way again this spring turkey hunting, should try and get a get together.  DId a shoot not quite sure where just east of washington, they said they know of no one shooting sticks....

Next time you head out give me a couple days notice.  I have a place up around leavenworth that  is usually good for a rabbit or two.
