This hunt started out as an Elk hunt in the Missouri Breaks but the elk hunting wasn't to good so we (HooDoo Arrow & me) started looking for Antelope. In the middle of a stalk on a herd of antelope I shot this buck after missing the granddaddy of Muledeer 10 minutes earlier

Even though he isn't the monster I missed I couldn't be happier getting a good shot at an unassuming muledeer on the ground who didn't have a clue in the world I was there. It was a good hunt and a good reminder that you always need to be on the lookout for unexpected oppurtunities

Translation, he got tired of watching me blow stalks on perfectly good bull elk.

Didn't notice those demon eyes on that dang thing when I took the pic. That looks plumb freaky.
