Film Nikon Camera......keep it or?
« on: February 17, 2006, 01:11:00 PM »
I have a Nikon 6006 with 2 lens. Hasn't been used in over a year since I got my digital. Been thinking of selling it but not sure.

What do you all think?

Personally I sold all my film bodies when I got into digital because I knew I would never use them again.   The only reason I could see keeping the body is if you think you'll ever shoot film or slides again.  The lenses could be used on a digital body so, depending on what digfital body you have, they may be worth keeping.

I'd keep it since it doesn't cost you anything. A sweet B&W pic done right is no match

I bought a complete dark room for my dad about 15 years ago from a newspaper journalist. In there was a bunch of paper that was never opend and had experation date of 1974. I figured the paper was junk since it was so old so I decided to try it...what is there to lose....It was that heavy cross hatch type paper, which i printed a pic I took of one of my old hunting spots.....its framed and hangs in my house....it's still my favorite photo in my house hands down

keep it, and use it!!!

I love my digitals, but B&W film is a close match
