SD cards...
« on: February 24, 2006, 02:37:00 PM »
I am looking for some cards, cheap small ones for my trail cams, and a good one for me FZ5.

Can anyone recommend a brand and good source? Is it worth paying for a "hi-speed" card?  Does anyone know of comparison or chart with the available cards and stats layed out?

Thanks

I wouldn't pay extra for a high speed card if I were using it in a trail camera. There's really no advantage to it in that situation.

Ken,

try the "pricewatch" website. They list the current best prices for electronic stuff. You can sort your search options to find what you really want. Lately I've seen SD card for around $27 for a 512mb and $38 for 1gig.
