I have canons SD550 which is a similar but an older model and love it. I sell cameras at best buy and if your looking for a compact camera, the SD800IS is probably the best model out. Its probably the fastest shooting non slr with the DIGIC III processing chip in it. It actually has image stabilization built in so you dont have to turn it on like on a lot of the other cameras in its class. It also has a wide angle lense. At 7.1 megapixels you can do great 8x10's. I havent tried anything larger but im sure clarity will be decent if you wanted to do a poster size too. It has pretty much every feature you could ask for in a compact camera including a big screen and a viewfinder. Personally I think its better than the SD900 which is $100 more. I'd certainly reccommend it. Hope this helps.             -Chris
