« on: December 31, 2006, 08:23:00 AM »
recieved a Kodak Z710  8 megipixel, 10x optical for Christmass. was wondering if anyone had one and what they thought? jury is still out for me, having a hard time adapting the first couple days. have to resize every pic for web or email is a pain. heres me and my buddy Norman.

Ive played around with one a few times and its a very nice camera. Reasonable small for the 10x optical zoom it has too. The only drawback in my opionin is the lack of image stabilization. It dosent factor in much unless your zoomed in a lot but its still nice to have.

You should be able to take the pictures in a smaller size which would eliminate resizing for posting online or emails. Should be in the menu somewhere.

Chris,
ya i totaly agree with ya on the stabilization, i think you must use a good tripod if you are planning on taking alot of landscape or pic's that require the zoom lens. i will be giving it a work out sundau as i will be hiking/hunting/picture taking on one of my favorite ridges.
