Thinking about a new camera and I really like this one. The 10x zoom will be great. Does anyone here have any experience with this camera?

I've played around with one a few times and it seems like a really good camera. Its pretty compact for having the 10x zoom and has a good lens too.  If you haven't already i'd second checking out the dpreview site listed in the above post.

Last year I bought the Panasonic DMC-TZ1 (with 10X zoom) prior to my trip to Africa upon the recommendation of the "Best Buy" salesperson since I had no clue.  This model has the Leica lens too.

My hunting partner picked up one prior to his departure after reading several reviews and had no idea that I had the same camera.

We were both impressed with the quality, ease of operation, and zoom capabilities.      Your model (TZ3) is probably an updated later version of my TZ1.  I would like to hear more about your camera and what it offers.  I sure like mine!    :clapper:
