Inexpensive, Easy to Use Video Camera?

Need to get an inexpensive, easy to use (I am not very computer or tech. literate- from the slideruler era) to record my hunts. I saw a Canon 300 at Sams for $250. Any suggestions?

If you're looking to post on youtube, & just preserve your personal memories, this is more than enough camera for that.
