Trad Gangers,
I am taking a trip to New Zealand, bow and fly rod in hand! Plan on hooking up with Too Short.
Any suggestions on the hunting, fishing, "can't miss" places etc.
Hope to be able to post about my travels as the trip unflolds.

What part of New Zealand you headed to?
Good luck and can't wait to see some pics. Wolfman sent me some pics and the place is amazing.

(north island)
Lots of red deer and goats! The trout fishing is supposed to be pretty good too, but haven't tried it myself.
An adventure for sure! Have a great trip...it'll be my turn in august :D
Looking forward to the pics mate!

Have a great time Bob. Look forward to hearing about your adventure and seeing the pics when you return!
My brother went down to New Zealand a couple years ago and brought home a Red Stag and Tahr.
Wishing you a safe journey!

You're doing about the only thing that could make a guy who is headed back to Africa with stick in hand jealous. God speed and have a great trip.
