Yea, there was a lot of talk about it on here last year. Some guy was supposed to be working on it. That's about all we ever heard. I am waiting for it myself. If anyone has info it would be appreciated.

Yoiu know what else would be cool.  Some of you guys that were hunting partners and friends could get together for a weekend and sit around telling his stories.  Then have someone there with recording equipment and sell the tapes.

I would buy those and the book as well.

Bob Windauer may still be working on a book about Paul.

it would be really hard to write a book on Paul.He was very humble, and even alone with his friends, didn't say a whole lot. He was a great guy,and would be embarassed by some one drawing attention to him.

It would be great if there was a book written about him,he was a true hunter and respect for his game was first and foremost.   :campfire:

Last I heard from Beth Windauer (of Schafer bows) is her father-in-law, Bob Windauer is working on the Schafer book. Sounds like he is putting his heart deep in the book and wants it to be perfect. She thought it would be complete in a year (this was a couple months back).
