Might want to ask a forum mod to move this to Pow Wow for you also. In Pow Wow you'll find a tutorial at the top on how to post pics.

That bottom pic tells it all ! Great picture.

I gotta show off my son and his Defiant too. He's letting me borrow it until he realizes Dave built it with his name on it when he was still in his momma's tummy.  ;)
At the rate he's growing...3 years old now, he should be shooting that 57# bow in about ....3 more years  :)

Yup, we're still smiling about this one !

HI Guys,
Trueposition, WOW, that is a great story !!!

Now the story behind Mason's bow....... We had the priveledge this year of hunting in Illinois this year and got to hang out with two very fine tradgangers for a few days, Bruce & Marilyn Hering, a.k.a." Huntschool ". Marilyn had a Dwyer Defiant and Mason could not take his hands and eyes off of it. I made up my mind that night while visitng the Hering home that the Good Lord being my helper I would get Mason one for his B Day in March. He currently shoots a 1967 Bear Kodiak Magnum, but has always wanted a longbow.

We then attended the Ye Olde Fartes New Year's Day shoot in TN and Mason got to shoot a fellow Farte's Dwyer and confirmed his burning need for a Dwyer ! I started asking around tradgang for a Dwyer and Mr. JJ Johnston came thru this week with a perfect fit for Mason. 60" 52lbs @ 28. Many thanks JJ for parting with this bow, but as you can see plainly you made Mason's dream come true !

When I went this morning to the post office to pick it up and bring it home I was able to disguise it from Mason cause he knew I had a Shrew coming and thought it was my bow that arrived. I should tell you at this point in the story that I am LH and Mason is RH. The second pic is moments after I had unwrapped his Dwyer and said, " Mason, this bow is RH, not LH " !!! At that point he really looked at it and saw the Dwyer compass on the upper limb and knew what I had done for him and haha, too him !!! I love pulling off a good surprise, don't you ?

Wapiti Chaser.......... Happy does not even come close, I think he will sleep with this bow the rest of this year !!!

I named the Defiant for the Dwyers. It is my big claim to fame!
