Western trad achery shoots?

Hi everyone, I'm new hear and fairly new to traditional archery. I used to be a tech archer, but had an elbow problem that left me unable to use a release. SO for therapy, I took up shooting my recurve...well, I fell in love with bare bow shooting and now shoot a Bear Montana 55# long bow.
I've been looking for shoots in the Utah, Idaho, Nevada area but can't find any.
Just trying to become aquainted with this new community of archer's.
Any Ideas???

Welcome, SoNev! I'm from Northern Nevada, so I'm afraid I don't have any real good info on shoots down in your country. To my knowledge, there is no trad-only club in Nevada. However, there's a club in LV which is archers of all types.

These shoots might be closer for you. Most of 'em are too long of a drive for me. Also, there's the Western States Rendezvous in Petaluma California this year. The only info link I have is:

I hope that helps.

Ron,
What about California? There are several that come to mind. In April is the Chamberlin Ranch shoot that will draw about 300. It is near Buellton north of Santa Barbara. In November is the Fresno Field Archers Gene Foster Shoot. In December is the Bear State Archers Trad Shoot.
Check the California Bowhunters website for more info. There are a few more.

Thanks,
I didn't really think of California, I don't normally travel that direction, but I guess I need to rethink that.
