Wow! Bodkins for squirrels is a bit heavy (except the squirrels in your area are wearing platearmour). Bodkins are historical points, they were used in the middle ages to punch through armour.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodkin_point   This link to wikipedia should explain the most. You can get get bodkins at almost any reenactment-shop that also carries some arrowheads OR (much better) forge your own.

While the term "Bodkin" is a manufacturers brand of broadhead the term has come to mean (even back into the 1960's) any three blade broadhead and usually the cheaper ones... call a Snuffer or Woodsman lover's broadhead a Bodkin and you might end up riding it home.

Whiffen archery made a three-blade head on which they printed the word bodkin.  In the 50s and 60s, when someone said they were shooting a bodkin, they were most likely talking about that head.  There still are a fair number around.
