Aram my Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is awesome! Way to go. Have you're feet hit the ground yet? That is some feat my brother. I've been after them a long time with just a few feathers to show for it.

Great pics. The deer pics are next.
Pick a spot and concentrate!

:knothead:     Not only I was risking my life running with a broadhead tipped arrow on my string but I am not Lukas Novotny so my aim was just pitiful      :(    ...  and I was the only one running. The turkeys were just standing there, fifteen paces away, looking wise by comparison... The one I aimed for easily dodged the arrow... I guess he was not a soccer player     :knothead:    I had been within feet of a  few turkeys and I didn't even let an arrow fly.    :(    Still, the day I would get one felt so much closer.
III. The third story is at the beginning of this thread. I learned this one first lesson that I feel changed the outcome of the hunt:
On every ocasion they spooked but not bad enough for them to take flight, not right away. I knew they would see me every time, the best I could hope for is that they would be a little scared, a little curious, and as predictable in their flight as possible.

Way to go Aram.  A turkey with a bow is high on my "to do" list.

While getting the bird, I'm sure, is great satisfaction,  providing for your family a hard won Thanksgiving feast will give just as much or more pleasure.

Congratulations and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
