Thanks a lot guys, it's been a season to remember,Antelope in sept, Moose in Oct, and a nice Mule Deer in Nov, it just doesn't get any better than this.
I have been at this game a long time and without a doubt my most succesfull one as far as numbers go.
I shoot a bow of my own "QuarterMoon" making, 53#@28" and was experimenting a bit with the Carbons this year, 4x 5 " fletch and 160 gr Magnus with a 125 gr BH adaptor with a 100 gr brass insert on the front end total arrow weight 650gr.
Absolute perfect arrow flight and total passthroughs on all the critters I shot this year.
Thanks again.
Regards, Bert.  :campfire:

Nice one Bert.
Glad to hear you had a great season.
Does this mean we have converted you to carbon arrows , and heavy heads ?

For those guys that don't know Bert, he makes a nice bow or two from time to time. I reviewed his 52" Hornet Flatbow a while back and realy liked it. That review is still on my Trad reviews  at  www.peteward.com.

Let me know when you come up north again Bert.

Danny, the bowlimbs are Embua the riser is Osage with a couple of Cocobola stripes in it 53#@ 28" tip overlays are Wild Boar hoof.
Very simple "Hill" style design.

Hello Peter,
You know I was always a heavy arrow guy as extreme as 840 grain Birch,   :scared:    :scared:
but am really liking the small diameter of the Carbons.
