Thanks everybody   :goldtooth:  I can't tell you how good it felt to just be carrying a bow.

Chris K, I had a 100% tear of rotator cuff tendons, 90% tear of the bicep tendon and a labrium cartilage tear. It took seven pins to put the shoulder back together, When I landed on my feet I also broke the top part of my hip socket a tore the labrium there too which still needs to be fixed. Workmans comp is dragging there feet on that one because I will have to have it fixed in Colorado Or Tennessee.

I'm far from done but I'm hunting and that's all that matters right now. I hope to be up and running by the time you guys have your next 5K race.

Ryan, I sent you some picks when I sent Curt's  :)

As soon as the rain stops we will be out hunting deer so more picks to come real soon I hope  :jumper:  Thanks again guys it means alot.

Tracy

Tracy I am fairly new here, and let me say I am terribly sorry to hear of your accident, I am really glad things are on the mend my friend, that is an awesome trophy you have taken there with that coyote, and I have to agree from what I have seen here it is nice to know that a fella has all this friends to rely on in good times and in bad.  Again good job and continue to get better!
Luck has nothing to do with it, just Boot leather and a GWP.

Tracy, congrats.  Recovering from injuries that keep you from doing what you love to do is sweet reward.  Continued good luck with many more animals to follow!

Todd, You got them broadheads all sharpened up because the rut should be going good about the time you get here.

Charlie, I'm glad you made it back safe and sound  :)  Any storys to tell  :readit:    :goldtooth:

Tracy,
Congratulations on the yote.  It's good to see you were able to get the shoulder rehabed in time for hunting season.  Keep up with your PT and don't over do it.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Tracy... nothing monumental to comment on about the trip.
The weather was poor. The main problem with that is it limits access to the farm I hunt. Can't get within a mile of the place when the roads get muddy.

My alternate spot did show me some deer but one has to consider the guy I was hunting with. If it weren't for bad timing he's have no timing at all!
The first evening he came out of the woods early and when he drove past my spot there were deer headed toward my blind... so he stopped to look at them and they left.

The second evening same thing happened.

The last morning he came walking in about nine thirty to see if I wanted to leave... I think it's over for me and this guy!

Trying to get lined out on a good spot I can take Vance when he heads back this way. Easier said than done around here.
