Hi Bill, pending if you are looking for the original promo's pics of Fred that are signed by Fred???? Those originals are a little spendie...But there are about 20-30 (at least) different guy's copying those original promo's at walmart, riteaide or walgreens, and listing them on the auctuion sight. Those sell for a much less dough.bd

Me too. Ive been looking for this particular pic of FB for months now and I can only find this tiny JPG on the net. I first saw it at a local Basspro and fell in love with it. Theres was in a large wooden frame and printed on canvas. My wife wants to find one which has a high enough resolution to make a 8x10 out of. Anyone have any ideas?

My absolute all time favorite of him, is of him crossing a small river on a hand made wooden bridge. It's a black/white. It's awesome, but can't find it anywhere.

I have three or four of the original 8x10 signed photos of Fred. I'm not sure about copying them though? Is it possible that someone owns the rights to photos of him?

A friend of my father lives in Grayling and knew Fred Bear quite well. He gave to me two copies of Fred Bear's Biography.  One was signed to him by Fred's widow the other to him by Frank Scott.

Good call Jack,Someone does own the right to Fred's picture and name. But as for makeing copy's of his picture for a friend.Thats probley cool. It's the selling of Fred's signed picture.Reprints signed are actuly not legal....but again so many are out there now,it would be near impossible to stop it.bowdoc

Waiting - As an engineer I enjoy that photo too. I believe it was a makeshift timber bridge that their hunting party built over the Little Delta River. Cool old pic!

I would also like to get ahold of a couple of old black and white copies for the basement wall.  I have a couple of color photos of Fred and the family that was taken by family members  and would like to compliment them with the oldies.
Thanks,
Jon

Just before FB died, the owner of the archery shop I worked at then got FB to autograph a picture of him with his mounted brownie.  I have never framed it, but will soon as I am working on a basement family room with a hunting/fishing theme.

Don't know where to get FB pictures now though.
