I have made the decision to order a custom longbow of the 3 piece takedown variety. If anyone in or near the central Maryland area would be willing to allow me to "test drive" their bow for a few shots, I would be interested and grateful. I am willing to travel. I really would like to shoot and get a look at craftsmanship before I make a deposit.
I have gone back in the archives here and read all the reviews and opinions, but now its time to get my hands on some. I spent an hour on the phone with a bowyer today (one of our sponsors) and would just like to try a few others before I make an expensive decision (doing my due diligence as it were) that way I have no regrets.
