If your talking about the Great Plains bows I have a Texas Hunter. I shoot axis 500's or POC 55-60, both with fast flite.I also shoot the axis 400's and get almost as good of flight. The bow is pulling 55#. Great arrow flight with both.I have not shot dacron as the bow is plenty quiet and no need.Good luck

Hey Onehair! The bow I have is a GP greatplainsman it has a coco riser and red elm and yew limbs. Its a beautiful bow,I havent got used to the grip yet,my hand tends to slide up as i shoot and when i start cutting my index finger with the fletching i know its time to readjust my hold.I guess ill just have to get used to it or ill just whittle on it til i get the right fit .lol.Thanks

I don't like the grip that comes with most LBs as they don't fill my hand. I take a piece of leather about half inch in width and glue to the front of the handle under the wrap. I file it to a point and taper top and bottom. Lace the wrap back on and it fits perfectly in the crease of my knuckles. No more sliding and the same grip everytime.
