Thanks Doug!!!!
« on: January 25, 2008, 08:20:00 PM »

Look what I found in the mailbox!!  :D   My parents and wife got the hint about me wanting one of Doug's knives (I've been dropping the hint for awhile now) and I guess my mother started talking to him!

This is one sweet knife!!!

Since I have your attention, here are some other knives I have from TradGangers:

OK, the bottom is an unfinished knife for a friend of Guru's, but the rest are mine :D

The scales on Doug's caper are mammoth ivory.

I can't wait for the swap so I can add to the collection!  :D

Dang,  That's the knife that got me started...beautiful!  I could of saved a lot of money if I'd just kept on buying Doug's knives instead of trying to make them  :knothead:  Doc

Frank, the osage knife was made by 4runr and is the one I got in last year's knife swap.  It did a bunch of butchering this year (none were mine    )

Doug, first thing I did when I got home from work yesterday was break in the sheath a bit, so it's real slick now  :) .  Matter of fact, it's on my belt right now... and I'm back at work   :banghead:

Doc, what fun would that have been?  :D
