A pair of caribou
« on: January 29, 2008, 11:25:00 PM »
Thought I would share my latest, they are wearing caribou antler handles with mosaic pins.
Blades are a tad under 3" and are 440c stainless.
Thanks, Dan

Sweeet! how long have you been making knives?

Nice.  I am very ignorant on knife designs... what are the scallops on the back edge of the blade?  Decoration?

Thanks, guys.  Montauks-been a hobby knife maker for maybe 10 years or so.
John, the filework on the back of the blades, gives your finger a better feel when using it, but I think it just looks nice.
