Just wanting to know, what is the most important things to work on for consistent shooting with such a short bow. I do not have one yet, but have ordered one and want to know what to expect.   Thank you,  Ollie

It's the same as shooting any bow, just a bit more critical.I've been shooting a bear kodiak mag a bit,it's the shortest bow I own right now. I'm not having any problems shooting it.

Your release has to be good though,as with any bow.

The Spirit is much more forgiving than the K-Mag. It shoots like a much longer bow. Like Pete says, tune up some arrows and shoot it, you'll be surprised at how well it behaves.

OK, since I am obviously among good friends, It is true, I don't behave that well, but the Sheepeater shouldn't be held responsible for my personal shortcomings. V'ster, let's not drag the family into this little matter.    ;)

Ollie you are going to dig it. I look forward to getting it into your hands.

It's kind of hard.I catch myself thinking about it everyday. Right now I'm planning to build some arrows for it.    :campfire:

Nice, nice, NICE little bows!  I was surprised how forgiving and well-behaved(!) my Obsidian was.  Great bow for blinds and brush!

The day it came, I installed silencers and set the nock point with the intent of setting it aside until the deer season was past.  BUT, after the first 20 trial arrows, it shot so nearly where my other bow did that I took it hunting THAT day, just 90 minutes after it landed at my house!!

I think you'll be very happy with it at hunting ranges.

Best wishes,

Daryl

Mine is to be here this week, and Brent with a broken arm no less.  That's dedication.  I told him it should be worth more to have been made by a one armed bowyer...
