any suggestions?
« on: March 22, 2008, 10:52:00 AM »
I am finishing up this helle blade antler knife. It has a nice base where it was attached to the deers head and I don't know what to do with it. Should I just smooth it up and be finished or try my hand at a deer track.? I've never done anything like that so if I do it, I need to keep it simple. Any ideas? Thanks,Mike

I like them sanded and buffed. But a track is also very nice. Or capped with copper or silver maybe a buffalo nickel inlaid or a indianhead penny? I was planning on doing those but winter has not left my house yet.<><

OK then I think I'll just leave it plain. Frank, you are the master at antler button art. I just don't want to mess it up trying to make it fancy! Thanks, Mike
