SUMPIN BOUT YOSAGE

WELL I GOT SOME STEEL FROM ANOTHER TG MEMBER THIS WEEK. SO I MADE MYSELF A KNIFE. YEP THIS ONE I AM KEEPING. WELL AT LEAST FOR AWHILE LOL. YA KNOW I AM A SUCKER FOR THAT YELLA WOOD.BLADE IS 3"OAL IS JUST A HAIR UNDER 7".      BTW I GOT A NECKER DONE ALSO WITH ANTLER HANDLE.5.5" OAL.

Thanks glad ya all like them. Yep that osage knife is going to stay with me. I didn't sand the blade on it and it looks kinda cool imo. <><

Thanks guys. Yes dave it is. I did not sand it when it came out of the oven. Just steel wooled it. I like the way the blade looks. And the osage well I love that stuff! the more knots the better! The rockwell was 31 before I worked it.I checked it at work.  took a great edge and seems to hold it very well like my sawmill blades. this steel has no pits like my millsaw blades so had to really try and get the hait line scratches out. That is very hard for me because of the nerve dammage I have in both elbows. Hands go numb and hurt like H### so I have to stop. I will never be a pro knife maker like rob and MR.C or Lin, tippit of the rest of the primo guys on here. But I do what I can LOL. But then I don't have to worry about marking up the blade when I use it LOL<><

That second knife has near perfect proportions. I really like it. Anyone would be proud to carry either one.
