One to keep
« on: May 30, 2008, 12:06:00 AM »
My daughter gave me some mammoth tooth, I finally got around to using it.  I vow to bloody it up this year.
I ground the blade from a damascus billet, and it is 4" long. The bolsters are pinned and dovetailed.
Sheath came out nice too.
Dan

That's a beauty!
What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.

Beautiful knife Dan. I'd really like to see one like that in person. I bet these pictures don't do it justice.

I hade to click on this thread just cause of the title.  LOL
Funny how no matter how many knives ya make ya never seem to keep one for your self.  I gotta make myself one of my stone blade knives to keep one day too.

EXCELLENT Dan.     :notworthy:      :notworthy:

Man I don't know. That might, just might be too pretty to bloody!
