Ulu's
« on: July 11, 2008, 11:34:00 AM »
Any of you guys making them?  Think they'd be great to keep around camp to skin hogs and deer with.  Most the Ulu's I'm seeing I'm not impressed with, and I thought I'd see what yall may offer if any of you are making them.

Thanks!

I haven't made one, but I think northcoastknives.com has some as a blade.

Thanks guys.  $6 for an Ulu blade?  Kinda get the same feeling when I see a nice car for $200.  Most the blades I'm seeing are either trinkets bought from an Alaskan gas station or cheap kitchen grade ulu's that can almost slice thru an entire potato before having to be resharpened.

Ragweed Forge had a couple made out of carbon steel that looked to be real workhorses, but when I get ready to order one, they aren't in stock anymore!

Thanks
