Quarter sawn Hickory
« on: January 23, 2008, 08:37:00 AM »
I was working a bunch of Hickory yesterday and came across a piece of perfect quartersawn, straight grain and I think it was 74" long.I'll cut it to 2-2 1/2" wide to send it. It is 15/16 thick. If anyone is looking for a nice piece of hickory to back with bamboo or something, give me a yell. I could probably find another piece or 2 if some one else wants. Free if you pay shipping. I'd keep it, but I'm going to try my hand at laminated bows and I have lots of small pieces I can use for Laminations.  JOHN (( I have enough hickory for the guys that PM'd me already, Sorry about that, all gone))

For GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16
