Hi Jon
Really like your knives, my favorite is the folder.
I have a question on your kydex sheaths.
Does the stuff come in different thickness and how tough is it to work with?
Thanx, RS

Jon,  Your knives are beautiful!  That pig skin hunter knocked me out...beautiful lines, no frills, and simple eloquence.  Guess I really like it!  tippit

I've only been working with kydex for a short time but really like it. I get my supplies through knifekits.com  .
You heat it to 350 degrees, fold it and put the knife between the fold, then press it between foam. It's almost that easy. Getting everything to look good and secure the knife just right takes some practice however.

Thanks Jon
I was thinking about something for leaving on a shoulder strap of a badlands pack that is weather proof. Also a axe holder on a sled running board. RS

I had this link on another post but thought it might be good to post it here also. It's a pretty good tutorial.

Chris, What did you think of the Ad? Does it look alright?

This may be the most amazing looking knife I have ever seen!!  http://www.jonchristensenknives.com/images/leafFolder2005.jpg   I don't have a clue how you created the metal pattern in this knife and some of your others. It blows my mind.

had a folder shown to me the other day that fits your style it had a large steel center with bronze copper and some nickel or ss steel damascus for the blade and steel copper damascus for the handle. The damascus on the blade was a ladder or wave pattern it was really cool lookin. I wish I had pictures.
