First Knife
« on: August 08, 2008, 09:53:00 PM »
Here is my first effort at knife making, it's L6 steel old sawmill saw blade.  Hand filed edge bevel.  Zebrawood over ebony with a tung oil finish.

Hope you enjoy!   And the picture posts

Hope this helps, Steve!
Nice job, and she looks like a pleasure to hold.

When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Good Job!
What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth
