Intro
« on: August 09, 2008, 09:13:00 PM »
Hello everyone,  I would like to take a moment to introduce my self to you.  My name is Brad Singley and I live in Griffin, GA with my wife and 2 kids, one boy(8) & one girl(6).  I am a firefighter/emt with a metro Atlanta Dept. My other full time job is building knives.
I am interested in building my first bow and am still in the info gathering stages(looks like a lot to learn).  I am open to suggestions!
Anyways thanks for taking the time to read and I look forward to talking with you.  I see tha Jon C. and Lin R. are active here,  they are great knifemakers,  good resources.  I will offer my help also to anyone who needs knifemaking advise or direction. Thanks again!

Good to see you here Brad.

It seems that making something, anything, is something that traditionalists have in common.

You'll enjoy it here. Lin   :campfire:

Hi Jon and Lin,  Lin you hit the nail on the head with your statement!  To tell you the truth I enjoy making just about anything that is not to common these days.  Right now it is a bow and arrows to match.  Still researching.  I really like your work.  I'll post some pictures and soon as I figure it out.
Jon,  It's good to talk w/ you again,  I wish I lived out there with you and Ed!  I did not want to come home this past April.  We went trout fishing and had a great time,  and oh yeah we made some damascus!  Talk w/ you soon.

I hate it when I'm left out.....
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
